On 27 December 2023, MEE Power Transformer Manufacturing JSC (MEEPOWER) worked with Southern Power Corporation (SPC) to successfully energize transformer T1 110kV-63MVA, helping to stabilise the power supply for the south of Phu Quoc island. ERAV news (in Vietnamese)
Transformer T1 63MVA-110kV at Nam Phu Quoc 110kV substation, Kien Giang province
Project objective: to supply power mainly to the southern part of Phu Quoc island district, Kien Giang province, including nearby island communes, for socio-economic development; to reduce power losses and improve supply reliability for the area.
Successfully energizing Nam Phu Quoc 110kV substation provides a stable supply and supports the socio-economic development of Phu Quoc city.
