16 October 2025 became a historic milestone for MEE Power Transformer Manufacturing JSC (MEEPOWER): for the first time, the company designed, manufactured, factory-tested and successfully energized a 220kV – 250MVA transformer at Binh Tan 220kV substation, Ho Chi Minh City. It is not only a technical achievement but also proof of the ambition to win Vietnam’s transmission transformer market with Vietnamese strength and know-how.

To achieve this, MEEPOWER went through a challenging journey that required close coordination between design, manufacturing and production management. In particular, the company’s young engineers showed exceptional skill, intelligence and creativity – not only mastering the technology but continuously improving processes and optimising every technical detail to guarantee product quality and reliability.

This success owes much to the dynamic leadership of former General Director Pham The Ngoc, who inspired the company and set a clear development strategy. Alongside him was former Deputy General Director Nguyen Trong Dinh, who directly led production with a scientific, creative and decisive approach, and who has now stepped up to follow his predecessors as the worthy helmsman steering MEEPOWER to new successes. The close coordination among leaders created a professional, efficient and passionate working environment.
