MEEPOWER – RISING TO THE CHALLENGE: 63MVA TRANSFORMER SUCCESSFULLY ENERGIZED AT KHOAI CHAU 110KV SUBSTATION
⚡ On 17 September 2025, MEEPOWER officially energized the 63MVA-115/38.5/23kV transformer at Khoai Chau substation, Hung Yen, putting it safely into operation on the national grid. It is an important milestone that demonstrates the outstanding technical capability and resilience of the MEEPOWER team.
📅 The project started in early 2022; the transformer was designed, manufactured and passed factory acceptance on schedule, meeting all strict technical standards. Implementation, however, faced many difficulties – especially land clearance issues on the 110kV line connecting Khoai Chau substation – which delayed energization for a long time.
🛠️ In response, the MEEPOWER team showed great responsibility, working proactively with the parties involved and patiently resolving each bottleneck to keep the schedule and ensure absolute safety in operation. The determination, creativity and skill of our engineers and workers brought the transformer into stable operation, playing an important role in strengthening transmission capacity for Hung Yen and neighbouring areas.
