Dong Anh Manufacturing Electrical Equipment JSC (DONGANHMEE) was recently delighted to welcome first- and second-year Accounting students from Hanoi Open University for a hands-on learning visit.
Mr Bui Xuan Hai – General Director of DONGANHMEE – shared valuable experience with the new students about growing and maturing on the path from accountant to a dedicated, visionary leader of a company with annual revenue of over VND 600 billion. Beyond career guidance, he answered students’ questions about training opportunities, recruitment criteria and the skills they need to settle into work right after graduation.
In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, even in a short visit, the Hanoi Open University students gained useful, practical knowledge from experienced professionals – helping them orient their careers, take initiative in their studies and build the skills future employers require.
The students also experienced a real business setting at the factory – the production workshops and the office block – gaining practical insight into the jobs related to the accounting field they are studying.
Through this programme, DONGANHMEE hopes to give back to the community and contribute to its social responsibility of improving the quality of Vietnam’s workforce. We look forward to welcoming many more student groups from universities and other educational institutions.
