The Huong Phung 2 and 3 wind farm project is a very special one, marking an important milestone for the round-the-clock efforts of the specialists, engineers and workers of Dong Anh Manufacturing Electrical Equipment JSC (DONGANHMEE) on site.
It is a key transmission project for the cluster of Gelex 1, Gelex 2 and Gelex 3 wind farms (90MW design capacity), Huong Linh 7 (30MW) and Huong Linh 8 (25.2MW), together with 9.86km of 110kV double-circuit line plus power and public road infrastructure serving the project and local residents. The substation has two 63MVA-115/23/23kV transformers designed and manufactured by DONGANHMEE. Each 63MVA transformer is the most important piece of equipment in the project – the “heart” that steps voltage up and down to match the area’s power demand.
